Research

I work in the areas of Grid Computing, Parallel Computing, and Cloud Computing. In Grid Computing we work in several areas including the design of broker for replica selection problem, the design of efficient authorization in Grids etc. In Parallel Computing the work is in the areas of Investigating issues in Distributed Shared Memory (DSM), Parallel Compilers, and Scheduling on multi-core computers. In cloud computing we are working on the design of P2P architecture, brokerage strategies for user's QoS parameters and design issues of Brokerage Manager.

Cloud Brokerage using Soft Computing

Using Rough and Fuzzy logic we can design an highly efficient brokerage service

Resource discovery and optimal scheduling in FOG computing

Discovery of proper resources and scheduling of jobs is critical in Fog environment. Research focus is on how to design quick algorithm.

Efficient Parallel algorithm design for certain computationally intensive problems

Focus is on design of efficient parallel algorithms and its implementation on CUDA based systems
